Sherry Coutu CBE is an entrepreneur and investor. She launched The ScaleUp Institute, which aims to advance understanding on how to scale up and grow a business in the UK. Sherry founded Founders4Schools, an organisation which connects business leaders with schools. These leaders can inspire pupils, help them engage in education, and think about their career aspirations.


Sir Clive Cowdery is the Founder of The Resolution Group, a financial services investor. In 2005, Clive founded the Resolution Foundation – a non-partisan think-tank which aims to improve standards of living of those in Britain on low to middle incomes. The Foundation produces high-quality research and analysis to raise awareness of those struggling on low and middle incomes – and help inform policy.


Monawar Hussain is the founder of The Oxford Foundation, an organisation which aims to promote religious harmony by educating young people, and helping them realise their full potential. Monawar set up the Diamond Jubilee Legacy Fund for East Oxford with Oxfordshire Community Foundation, to support projects promoting interfaith dialogue, as well as addressing issues of deprivation in the area.


Tom Ilube is an tech entrepreneur – and is also known for his philanthropy in the education sector. Tom set up African Gifted Foundation, which aims to transform the lives of young people by running science academies across ten different countries in Africa. In 2016, the African Science Academy opened in Ghana – providing a safe environment for girls to be taught science and maths.


Fran Perrin is the Founder and Director of the Indigo Trust, a grant-making foundation which aims to create positive social change. The Trust harnesses the power of technology and innovation to increase transparency and accountability. Fran also co-founded 360Giving, which helps organisations publish grants data in an open and standardised way to support grantmaking decisions.


Ed Wethered is the founder of Raise Your Hands, a membership community which supports small charities working with young children. Raise Your Hands increases the profile of organisations which might not have the resources for wide-reaching marketing strategies. Raise Your Hands also aims to make philanthropy appealing and rewarding for the next generation of philanthropists.
